Church camp 2007 - Logos Presbyterian

For the past 3 days, I joined Logos Presbyterian Church Camp which took place at Alor Gajah. Due to time constraint and for conveniences, I drove to Alor Gajah from Johor Bahru. The whole trip took me 2 ½ hours and this is the 1st time I drove out from Johor area alone using my 10 years old wira.

This was picture I took while I was driving. So daring is it? It is really bored driving alone but my feeling at the moment is really excited. I just can't wait to see Mic after seperated with him since last meeting during 1st May and I even drove up to 140km/h.

I did not take much picture of the camp site, but it is really a fantastic and wonderful place. You will feel extremely relax with the greenery surrounding which you will never be able to see in the city. This small hut in the picture is one of the chalet in the camp site.

The reason why this camp is really enjoyable and relaxing, partly because I am totally taking part in this camp as a "member" rather than "committee + member". I don't mean I hate to serve, but as someone who always need to serve, it is good to be lazy sometimes. hehe...

In this camp, Mic is so busy all the time. He has to be song leader, game leader, back up singer and all the time a supportive member. This is also part of the reason which make this camp a memorable one for me. It is really happy to see him busy serving and in-charge in so many area. I feel so praud of being his girl friend.. hehe..

I can see the transition in him. I see how God changed him from a shy and introvert person to who he is now. I knew that he has changed, but I did not notice of these great changes until I see it. When I saw him leading in front of people, with confidence and without any fear, controlling the whole event, I just couldn’t help but admiring him. Admiring him for all his hard work and the willingness to serve the Lord, and thank God for changing him.

These 3 pictures taken while we go for some adventurous activity in the camp site. From these pictures can see how playful Mic can be sometimes. I dare not climb the robe as it seems so scary due to its height from ground and also the length of the robe. I tried for a not so scary one during the 1st day of the camp during the jungle tracking.

The jungle tracking was really fun. I never walk in the jungle, with the bush and plant, tree and insect around me. There is no proper route for me to walk on and there is some part of the journey which require me to squat down so that I won't trip on my step or roll till the end of the track due to the slipery and steepness of the route.

During the 2nd night, we had camp fire. The last time I saw a camp fire was during my primary school. So, this is also very interesting for me. We dance around the fire crazily and frankly speaking, I never been to a camp which had jungle tracking and camp fire as their activity.

Happy moment passes fast. The 3 days camp ended. Looking forward for the next family camp after 2 years. By the time, can I join the camp with different role?

Even though I was very busy with serving, but I want to thank you for having you at my side to support me. I felt so enjoyed during the camp especially the moment being with you.

Darling, thanks for taking care of me always. You make me feel so secured of having you with me. I wouldn't dare to try those adventurous activities without having you guarded beside me.
